To be fair pizza hut does too, but I was surprised how pizza hut hadn't hiked up prices as much as the others, and there coupons reflect that. Surprisingly pizza hut kept to a couple of the decent ones but dominoes and little Caesars had some 'this is supposed to sound like a deal but it's really not'. Some of them even end up with you closer to the regular price while trying to make it sound like otherwise. whoever took that over is terrible).Īmong the three I mentioned though, some of the 'deals' don't feel like 'deals' so much as 'we are going to rip you off and call it a coupon'.
(papa wasn't even a consideration because the quality goes down but the price goes up- they want five star prices for two star food- they used to be really good and usually having some reasonably good deals but. To be fair that is usually what happens when we really want pizza. even before price hikes back when we could do that every once in awhile with several pizzas and sides, as a treat we'd be eating for a couple days even, is way higher than you'd expect. The number of times we gave up and just didn't order a pizza from dominos for that predatory bs is just. If this was on the up and up then listing which ingredients were not included wouldn't be a problem. I wager Dominos does this predatory bs specifically to try to trick people into just accepting it at check out, and just puts the disclaimers there, not specifying even then which toppings were involved, specifically to try to get away with not upholding the deal properly. Pizza hut, however, is extremely greasy(this messes me up even without current issue- even if my family were to have gotten it I couldn't have eaten it). It's all the same tomato sauce with zero options for the sauce- I cannot have tomato sauce for the time being- they do have some good options- also they are heavily pushing the thin crust right now and it's really annoying), but came out the cheapest for the most food(if you stick with pepperoni only), even if not nearly like they used to be and still not 'cheap'(i miss the hot n ready's), and pizza hut had some decent deals and didn't upcharge for specific ingredients they didn't list cost extra in the first place.
Little Caesars has no options that aren't bad(edit to clarify: for me right now. I cannot have the tomato sauce but every other sauce raised the price by two dollars, defeating the purpose of the 'deal'. This evening we were playing 'check the three big pizza places around to see which one has the most reasonable deal going'- I never thought I'd see the day when pizza hut was cheaper than domino's even if only by a couple bucks- we ran into this while doing it.
